What to Wear in March: These 5 Wardrobe Staples That Will Make Any Outfit 10 Times Cooler

It’s time to get excited about your wardrobe again.

March is that month where no one knows what’s going on. It’s that odd limbo between the misery of the New Year, but not quite far enough in to celebrate the start of the spring. The thought of socialising in March is baffling, for two reasons. 1. The weather is so uncertain you’re better off having the night in with a Chinese. 2. We’re still in the midst of a global pandemic, and while the roadmap has been lifted, March will still be fairly dull. We may still be stuck indoors for the time being, but with a BIG glimmer of hope in the air (all pray for June 21st), the month of March can be used to prepare and to get excited about our wardrobes again.

So, to get that pro-longed fashion ‘buzz’ back we’ve been craving so hard- and to finally say we can step away from the loungewear sets- these are 5 staples you are going to want to have wardrobe ready. The world needs to see them.

House of CB
Yara Vintage Fit High Waist Jeans

For many, including myself, have forgotten what jeans feel like. With zero reason to wear them, they have been pushed to the back of the wardrobe while the tracksuit bottoms take their place. So, to re-introduce them into your life, go for gold. House of CB have taken the denim world by storm and have produced some incredibly stylish and comfy jeans. They may be slightly out of budget, but what else have you been splurging on?

Mistress Rocks
Element, Cream Stretch Bustier

Date night is back on. And what better excuse to stock up your crew of cute crop tops, corsets and glamourous shirts. Paired with a cute pair of jeans (we’ve already got you sorted), this Mistress Rocks cream bustier is the perfect date night top. Sophisticated yet stylish and can easily be dressed up or down. Trust, this will stay at the front of your wardrobe for quite some time.

Huda Beauty

Air Force 1 Shadow

Admittingly, our go-to choice of footwear very quickly turned into a pair of hunter wellies for daily wood walks. But as the world starts to open again, its time to get that foot fit back. As day trips and casual pub trips become closer to grab, cool trainers need to make a reappearance. Looking for something that catches eyes? These orange and blue detailed Nike Air Force 1’s may not go with EVERY outfit, but when you find the right fit, prepare for the compliments. The perfect summer trainer.

Motel Rocks
Miss Joslin x Motel Saken Blazer in PU Brown
It’s a trend we’re obsessed with, so we’re all saying a little prayer that the chocolate trend is here to stay. Or at least until we can wear it out, out. This Motel Rocks x Miss Joslin collab PU Brown blazer is just dreamy for date nights or as a casual throw over to take to the pub. It may be pushing to the £100 mark, but it a staple piece you will wear over, and over, again. Paired with chunky gold jewellery, now thassa look.

Chain Patent Baguette Bag
Am I the only one who’s continued to buy bags through-out this whole pandemic with absolutely nowhere to go- other than Sainsburys? Good, thought I was the only one. Now we actually have an excuse as we wait for the 21st June to arrive. Sticking to the chocolate vibe, this petite baguette bag is all you need to get those nights out going again. Good for your lipstick, keys and phone and its hella cute.
