Why We Are Obsessed With the Huda Beauty GloWish Range

If our bank accounts weren’t drained enough already

When we think of ‘glam’ Huda Beauty is one of the few makeup enthusiasts that spring to mind. Rising to fame from her full-coverage and flawless-looking beauty looks, she is championing a side to makeup that doesn’t exactly scream natural. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

After a year of social seclusion, many of us opted for a more natural ‘barely there’ makeup look to complement the Netflix nights and zoom quizzes. Like with any trend, when we ask, Huda Kattan delivers. So, when news broke that she was launching a new makeup line to honor our decision to start choosing a tint over a foundation, we couldn’t quite believe it.

GloWish was born.

The collection was launched with only four leading products, a dewy skin tint, a radiant bronzer and two vegan complexion brushes, that all aim to deliver the hydrated, glowing and healthy-looking skin we desire for the summer.

The GloWish Multidew Skin Tint, retailing at £32.00, comes in 13 shades that cater towards a variety of different skin shades and offers a lightweight formula that sits in between a tinted moisturizer and BB cream. If you’re looking for a gentle everyday base, the tint gives the skin a healthy, lightweight glow without the feeling like you’re caked in makeup. All the while giving a decent amount of coverage.

The Soft Radiance Bronzing Powder, £27, is a buildable marbleized bronzing powder available in 5 shades. The non-powdery, lightweight texture creates the illusion that you aren’t wearing makeup at all, however still boosting your glow and adding a warm, tanned complexion to your skin.

To pair the products, the range comes with two synthetic fibre brushes that can be used with the skin tint and bronzer to help create that flawless finish.

While both products are designed to provide you with some serious glow and a flawless complexion (really- it’s beautiful), they are also packed with skin-loving ingredients. Both the bronzer and tint include Damascus rose oil and red bell pepper that locks in moisture and acts as antioxidant protection.

To top things off, the range carries some pretty cool eco-friendly features. The packaging is made with post-consumer recycled materials that are 100% recyclable and better yet, all the formulas are Vegan Society certified.
